Wes and I went our for dinner on Friday for the first time since Ella was born. I think we both enjoyed it, although we just kind of looked at each other and didn't talk much. We went to a Japanese steakhouse, so we watched the chef, mostly. When we were done, I was anxious to get back home--it was the longest I've ever been away from her (a total of an hour and a half!).
Next time, we'll try a short movie. I really miss going to movies!

Aww....1 1/2 hours must have felt like forever. So what will be your first post-baby movie?
I'm really glad you and Wes got to go out for dinner together, and I hope that movie happens soon!
